Jerry Hall takes pride in helping his community in many ways. One of those ways is his constant support for the Family Promise of Cape May County. If you are unfamiliar with Family Promise they are a wonderful volunteer based organization which helps families that are homeless. They provide shelter as well as help the families find new homes and work with several community job training agencies that allow the family to regain their independence.


Family Promise Thrift Store Opens October 21, 2017!

The Cape May County chapter of this amazing organization is opening a new Thrift store. The proceeds will go toward helping homeless families in need. This new thrift store is located at 3156 Route 9 South, Rio Grande Unit 6.

The grand opening is set for Friday, October 21st. The store’s hours have yet to be determined. We will update as soon as we know what the hours of operation will be for the store.

You Can Help Too!

Family promise is currently looking for donations and volunteers. They are a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization and will gladly give you a tax deductible receipt for any donation you make. The thrift store is currently asking for new or like new items in several categories which include clothing, small appliances, kitchen items, houseware decor and toys excluding stuffed animals.

Whether you donate or shop this is a great way to help many families in Cape May county. So be sure to stop by for the Grand opening of the Family Promise Thrift Shop in Rio Grande on October 21st.
